Read: Show Your Work

This book is for anyone who hates dislikes self-promotion… or feels uneasy with the idea of putting their work out there (*Raises hand*).

Austin Kleon, the author of best-selling book “Steal Like An Artist,” wrote “Show Your Work: 10 ways to share your creativity and get discovered.” I often feel really hesitant when I need to promote the work I’ve done, worrying about how people will receive it, or if what I’m doing is even good enough.

This book is a great cheerleader to own your own voice, be vulnerable and honest, and be okay, well more than okay, with the idea of “selling out.” (Hint: It’s not what you think it is.)
