Back in May, I took a trip to Guiuan to visit Renee and talk about the plans for her 7-year anniversary.
I ended up brainstorming with her under a hut with my laptop watching the waves roll into the beach.
But apart from work, I learned more about our history in the Philippines, had deep soulful conversations with travellers/surfers about life, got to play with 5 adorable puppies, helped grocery shop for Renee’s small bar “The Goat House.”
I got to understand how the community healed and grew stronger after Typhoon Haiyan hit. Felt so much compassion for everyone I met there. I loved it and ended up extending for two more days.
Time goes by so fast with so many to-do lists. Somehow posting all of these things on this site makes me appreciate even more all these memories.

SINGAPORE-– Last weekend @ Culture Con. I had 7 back to back interviews for Status Magazine. I’m still processing everything.
I love being exposed to artists via the magazine. I learn so many life lessons. Like keep having fun. Travel. & Work with good people.
Thank you for expanding my mind. (PS I still get shy).
Feeling that post-retreat #high.

This week I rolled out a new workshop on disconnection, connection and social media. (Oh you know, that thing we spend so much of our time looking at… ✌️) The online world brings such a love-hate relationship to the user- that it’s something we felt we had to bring up and take a step back from.
.
But most importantly, it was about #connection. Of feeling. Of moments not planned, programmed or scripted that makes you feel heard and understood.

So lovely sharing this experience with everyone in La Union this week. A big shout out to @mari_jasmn @nickydaez@willseathelight for everything you guys do. I learned a lot by watching you guys. 🙌
.
To the tribe that showed up, thank you for sharing your energy and stories with an open-heart 🙏
To the new friends I met along the way- you guys showed me glimpses of a lifestyle that’s possible. 🌴

And now- back to the matrix…
