I gave a copy of my book out yesterday, and took a long walk down memory lane. It still feels surreal. When Sarah and I launched Unscripted at the end of 2011, I was only 24 years old. I didn’t know anything about publishing a book. While I did have writing and magazine experience, I had to rely on the clarity of our vision, on google to answer our questions, and of course, on faith to take it one step at a time.

Read: The Power of Now
Eckhart Tolle knows things. The Power of Now was one of the books that made me snap out of past cycle of “what’s done is done” regrets, and future “I wish” daydreams. The power really does lie in the present moment.
Read: The Artist’s Way
The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron is one of the books I recommend to help one remove their blocks in creativity.
Read: The 4-Hour Workweek

The 4-Hour Workweek was the reason why I look at life with a thirst for what I want to experience as my priority. It snapped me out of a miserable rat race I was in, forcing me to truly look at what I want vs. the pressure of competing at a game I never really wanted to win. #knowwhatImean
Read: Pure Green Magazine
While on the plane ride to Manila today, I read Pure Green Magazine from cover to cover. I love this new find! This magazine focuses on living a green life in a stylish way.
With it’s fantastic imagery and well-written articles, it doesn’t make one feel like adopting a “Green” lifestyle is difficult to embrace.
Read: Porter Magazine
Beauty & Depth. I’m glad to see more magazines launching into the media landscape. Yay, print is NOT dead. Porter, the new magazine by Net-A-Porter, is one of the most refreshing magazines I picked up recently.
