Watch: CalCarries Philippines

My mother agency (in Manila) launched their Instagram account.

CalCarries Philippines is like my second family. I don’t get to see the other girls/guys so much because we are all bouncing around right now and evolving into new careers, but when we do catch up, it’s always filled with huge hugs and jumping screams of excitement.

I love these people so much and am grateful to have a strong home base that taught me a lot. Shoutout to Joey Espino, Audie Espino, Allan, Rose, and the rest of the fam.

Manila-based beauty website Calyxta recently featured me and Teresa as their June cover girls. (Thanks Guys!) I don’t always get to shoot with Ter, especially now that we live in different cities. We are also on different paths, with me on my own solo journey, and Teresa, on becoming a mom.

What I loved about this shoot was that it explored our relationship as sisters in the industry, and revealed new layers about how it was for us growing up.

I didn’t know anything about publishing a book. While I did have writing and magazine experience, I had to rely on the clarity of our vision, on google to answer our questions, and of course, on faith to take it one step at a time.
