Despite all the times I’ve been to Japan, I’ve actually never been to Yoyogi Park until this trip. I have this one side of me that’s completely all about the city, and then there’s this other side that’s likes to meditate in nature and zone out.

So this is a little post dedicated to that nature freak in me. The side that likes to take photos of trees, moss, and chill with ravens.

Last December, I went to Benguet to participate in a shoe-giving trip with TOMS Philippines. (Photos of the shoe-giving trip will be up in another post!)

My mom and I decided to take the bus from Makati to Baguio City where we would meet the TOMS team. The road trip takes around 4-5 hours depending on the traffic (ugh) but it was quite a sweet experience chilling with my mom on a bus for that long. We haven’t really had a bonding trip like that in a while, and while I would roll my eyes and be like, “This is taking forever!” She would just say “Enjoy the adventure!” #ilovemoms

After selling his company in 2007, he started the Green School, with the aim to bring together sustainable architecture and unconventional educational practices to create a more natural and holistic way for children to learn.

My cousin Marc got married over Easter weekend in Hawaii. It was my first time to ever visit, and I completely fell in love with the sights of O’ahu. While I mostly stayed within Waikiki, I did manage to take a short road trip to Lanikai beach in Kailua. I am so in awe of nature right now. There are some sights, no matter how many photos you take, you can never really capture it’s beauty. You just have to keep your eyes open and take in all you can.

Read: Pure Green Magazine

Read: Pure Green Magazine

While on the plane ride to Manila today, I read Pure Green Magazine from cover to cover. I love this new find! This magazine focuses on living a green life in a stylish way.

With it’s fantastic imagery and well-written articles, it doesn’t make one feel like adopting a “Green” lifestyle is difficult to embrace.
