#Proud Friend Moment! My friend Annette released her digital, bilingual children’s books on Amazon last week. Annette is a remarkable consultant, advocate for women empowerment, a singer, and now author. Annette’s books are written in a variety of languages, including English, Spanish, German and soon Tagalog.
Her first two releases are called Rafa Takes Breathes, that teaches children how to practice deep breathing and calmness, while Gerald’s Big Jump, which teaches children how to get back up after a fall and learn new skills.
One of the things that sets Annette’s characters represented with cute and kind animals allow children to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. This is crucial for promoting self-esteem and a positive sense of identity among young readers. Her books celebrate diversity, promote language learning, and encourage inclusivity.
